Finding a therapist who can really listen and then offer solutions can be a challenging task. As a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of counseling experience, I am dedicated to counseling and assisting teenage and adult patients. My main areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, women's issues including infertility, postpartum depression, relationship issues, divorce and women in the workplace concerns. I have worked extensively with high school and college students. My goal is to work with you to find solutions to the issues that are difficult to cope with. Together, we will develop helpful strategies to face life's challenges.
My practice has focused on helping people face the complexities of today's world, including relationships, family, and workplace. Trying to "handle it all" can come with much anxiety and stress that people face today. I specialize in working with teenagers as well as adults. The right professional can assist you to find positive coping methods that work.
I am licensed in both New York (license #014366) and Connecticut (license #004785) and accept Aetna insurance and insurance policies with out of network coverage (most PPO plans).
For over 20 years, I have counseled and helped women and men find their voices. I am skilled at providing support as well as solutions to the issues that you seek assistance with. As a mother, wife and working woman myself, I can relate to the issues in today's stressful world. I look forward to meeting with you and assisting you in finding solutions.
Education
I received my undergraduate degree from Cornell University and my Masters and Ph.D. degrees from Long Island University. I completed my Clinical Psychology internship at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York.
